February Friendship “A true friend leaves paw prints on your heart”

Friends in February bring heart warming to all the good times and the challenging ones too. The majority of dog owners will tell you if you've never loved a dog then you are missing out on a special friendship that is often coined as "man's best friend" or "women's best friend". Dogs have truly become part of many families, providing emotional support to many, offering services to the special needs, and just bonding as a true companion.

The past decade has been full of good news and some startling reminders that we all need to participate at some level in what's happening in our world, our cities, and our communities. We are inspired by the optimists that continue to move ideas forward when it comes to climate action, living local, and becoming the most 'green' we can be in our own worlds.

As a small business that has worked to keep pace with the changing pet industry for the past 22 years, Teckelklub has remained true to its original mission: to applaud the importance of dogs in all aspects of our lives; to a continuous commitment to quality products; to make all our products 100% in Canada; and of course to engage with our customers and the communities where we do business responsibly.

The Art of Giving Thanks

Every year we reflect back on the past year's high points and challenges. This year we will complete our 21st year in business. Two decades have passed quickly since we launched the original Trench design to handle the very wet coastal rainforest climate of Vancouver, where all Teckelklub products are manufactured. Since 1998 the brand has expanded to include a global clientele. The Made In North America label still has the same care for people, their dogs, and the environmental impact since it was founded.

We are very thankful to all our loyal clientele who have enjoyed the Teckelklub product quality over the years. We also express our gratitude to independent pet industry boutiques and communities that care about shopping for local North American made goods. Teckelklub has cemented its reputation for manufacturing consumer goods that stand the test of time. Teckelklub has long believed in supporting small businesses and the economy by employing local talent to strengthen the North American manufacturing sector. We have always been aware of our environment and strive to reduce our carbon footprint by giving customers more for their money and less of the overseas transportation costs, and duties. The Layers of Fall 2019
