A happy wag to the start of the Lunar New Year - simply put Lunar New Year is the beginning of a year whose months are coordinated by the cycles of the moon.

Across the world people are saying hello to the start of the Year of the Dog and Au revoir to the year of the Rooster.
There are some great ways to celebrate and we’ve sniffed out a few for you:

- Oranges gain some popularity during the New Year as the word ‘orange’ in Chinese sounds like ‘Ji’ which translates to good luck.
- Not setting off firecrackers will make your dog happy – even though you might miss out on the fun.
- Indulging in a few dumplings, a rice cake or a pineapple tart will be howling good.

No matter how you celebrate make it wonderful for all. Happy Lunar New Year 2018!
