Let the Sun Shine

There are no blurred lines when it comes to where products are made. No matter where a company is located, where its product is made is on the label of origin. By failing to be clear about where a product is manufactured, it does a disservice to its clients and damages its own brand reputation. Made in Canada versus Made in China is a straight line. When it says designed in Canada or Proudly Canadian or ‘Canada x’ it is made offshore. When it comes to marketing and advertising the customer should not experience blurred lines. Recently our competition has been blurring the lines and even claiming to make products in Vancouver when they are made inexpensively in China. Truth matters to those who are aware of China’s record of irresponsible labour practices and animal cruelty. We encourage them to let the sun shine on the truth and be truly proudly Canadian.
